We  get involved with what is important to people with learning disabilities and their family carers across Herefordshire.  

​We are directed by a group of local people with a learning disability who are also our Trustees.

We employ a person with a learning disability who is our link between us and West Midlands Self Advocacy Network, www.wmsan.co.uk/.

We work with local voluntary and statutory organisations and are members of Herefordshire's Partnership Board.

We are affiliated to Royal Society Mencap and work very closely with them, however we have to find our own funding to pay for the work we do.

Our campaigns:

• we hold 'Hear Our Voices' events twice a year - increasing people's voices across Herefordshire.  
• working with police and victim support to keep people safe.  We facilitate the 'safe places' scheme across Herefordshire.
• 'changing places toilets': there are now 4 in Hereford.   We are currently working with 2 organisations in Ross-on-Wye to campaign for a toilet in this beautiful market town in south Herefordshire.
• we hold gigs three times a year to celebrate the 'Stay Up Late' campaign - staying out until at least midnight (not yet achieved sadly).
